Education plays a significant role in the prevention of HIV/HCV and STIs. Knowing the facts about these viral and bacterial infections helps in the fight against them. Educating ourselves also aids in dispelling the fears and stigma associated with HIV and STIs.

MAF’s prevention team offers free HIV/HCV and STI 101s, Healthy Relationships training, Cultural Competency Training, Narcan Training, and Sexual Diversity to the community of Maui County.
